New fitness equipment for Derrinallum community Derrinallum residents are set to benefit from new exercise equipment, which has been constructed at the town's recreation reserve. Residents listed exercise equipment as a priority during community consultation for the Derrinallum Community Plan. Derrinallum Progress Association President Kevin Molesworth said there had been a good response from the community. “We’re pretty happy with the project,” he said. “It’s been put in there for the clubs and community.” The total cost was roughly $30,000, with the Federal Government contributing $20,000 through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Fund.
