Link to Share Victoria is soon to have a new Racing Integrity Commissioner following confirmation that Sal Perna is to step down from the role after more than 10 years. Martin Pakula, the Minister for Racing, named noted sports administrator Sean Carroll as Perna’s replacement with Carroll to begin his role from March 1, 2021. "Victoria is the home of Australian racing and the work of the Racing Integrity Commissioner is vital to ensuring we maintain that reputation," Pakula said. "I’m thrilled that Sean Carroll has accepted the position and know that he will do a great job, just as Sal Perna has done for more than a decade."
