Seitz Jr. announced on Tuesday the formation of a new task force that will review judicial bail procedures in domestic violence cases and recommend best practices for handling such cases. The task force was set up "to address the unique challenges of bail decisions made in cases involving charges of domestic violence," Seitz wrote in a court order. The announcement of the task force comes on the heels of recent violence in Smyrna.
