Newark water rescue unit joined large scale Nottinghamshire Police and fire service search at Holme Pierrepont after report of teens in canoe

A Newark water rescue unit joined in a large scale search last night after teenagers were reported to be in a canoe at a fishing lake.
However, after hours of searching, nothing was found.
Nottinghamshire Police have now issued a plea to stay out the water following the report at Holme Pierrepont at around 7.20pm.

The Coast Guard helicopter was utilised to search from the sky at around 10pm to aid officers searching on the ground.
