OR Health Authority Reported 506 New Cases of COVID-19 and 5 More Deaths Over Weekend The Oregon Health Authority reported 506 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 in the state over the weekend as well as five more fatalities -- but four of the deaths date back to 2020. According to OHA, the statewide total of coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic increased to 210,729 and the statewide death toll rose to 2,797. The cases and deaths are a cumulative total from the weekend including Friday, Saturday and Sunday when the totals were 254, 172 and 80, respectively. OHA reported 36 new cases of COVID-19 in Jackson County over the three-day period with 30 in Josephine County and 23 in Douglas County.
