Newspaper and radio baron Sir Ray Tindle dies aged 95 : vima

Sir Ray (pictured in 2002 with the Queen), a vocal champion of the local press and freedom of speech, was the chairman of Tindle Newspapers until 2017, when he stepped down at the age of 90.
