NexGen receives environmental approval for a uranium project in Canada

The Canadian uranium mining company NexGen Energy has received a positive environmental assessment (EA) from the Saskatchewan Province (central Canada) to proceed with the development of its Rook I uranium project, the largest development-stage uranium project in the country. The project, 100% owned by NexGen Energy, has a total initial capital expenditure of CAD1.3bn (US$943m).
