Event Description We’ll continue the coffee-and-chat sessions that LLI members enjoyed this winter with an added twist. Some weeks will be purely social, other weeks may include brainstorming about future classes or meeting the people who keep LLI running. We'll keep you posted. This course will meet on Wednesday mornings of weeks 1, 3, 5 and 7, alternating sessions with the book discussion course. Conveners: Various LLI Steering Committee members will convene these sessions, depending on the topic. The Northern Illinois University Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI), established in 2000, is a member-directed group of individuals primarily age 50 plus who enjoy learning in informal, flexible, non-competitive groups and like connecting with peers who share their interests. No grades, no tests – just Learning for the Fun of It.
