No active COVID-19 cases in Barton County on April 9 One-third of Kansans have received COVID-19 vaccine Barton County had zero positive active cases of COVID-19 as of 2 p.m. Friday and zero active quarantine or isolation orders, according to Public Information Officer Donna Zimmerman. To date, the county has recorded 2,492 positive cases, while is 103 fewer than the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s count of 2,595 total positive probable cases for the county. State figures also showed no new cases for Barton County for the entire month, and two fewer cases than was reported on March 31. Nearly one-third of all Kansans have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, KDHE reported Friday. To date, 968,016 people – 33.2% of the total population – have received one dose and 537,572 have received a second dose of vaccine.
