Nooresh Juglall: Fund launched to help family of champion jockey, 29, who died in fall

A fund has been launched for the family of Nooresh Juglall, who died aged just 29 following a fall on the racecourse.
The 2020 champion jockey of Mauritius came off his horse Rule The Night at the Champ de Mars track on Saturday.
Racing fans have been donating to a $50,000 campaign to help his widow Chaaya and family.
He was also survived by his father Satanand, mother Kavita, sister Sweta and brother Tajesh, who is also a jockey.
The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in Mauritius, Satyajit Boolell, is looking into the fatal incident.
