North Attleboro Fire Department says what appears to be a fire at former Babies R Us building is actually a movie set Updated Dec 10, 2020; What appears to be a large fire at a former Babies R Us building is all just special effects, the North Attleboro Fire Department said. “Tonight and into next week a movie is being filmed at the old Babies R Us building next to Target,” the fire department post Wednesday on Facebook. “Tonight they are using a smoke machine and electronic light signs to make it look the building is on fire.” Photos shared by the department show what appears to be a large fire with flames and smoke but the department assures residents “there is no fire.”
