New dates and locations have been announced for Northumberland’s Roving Vaccination Unit. After a ‘successful’ pilot scheme, NHS Northumberland Clinical Commissioning Group and the Cramlington Seaton Valley Primary Care Network have teamed up with Northumberland Fire and Rescue to set up pop up clinics at other fire stations throughout the county. Over the next few weeks, the specially modified Ford Transit will be on the road in West Northumberland delivering Covid-19 vaccines to those who have made appointments. The Roving Vaccination Unit will be at Ponteland Fire Station on Monday, May 17, Prudhoe Fire Station on Monday, May 24, Haltwhistle Fire Station on Thursday, May 27, and Bellingham Fire Station on Monday, June 7. At each location, it will be there from 10am – 5pm.
