A hotel in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, has implanted thin, high-temperature-resistant chips in all its linens, including sheets, towels and duvet covers, with the help of the internet of things. The chips allow hotel guests to get information they need, China Central Television reported on Tuesday.
Hotel guests will be able to scan a QR code in their rooms to check the cleanness of the towels and sheets, which will contain information about when they were washed and changed.
