The show’s creator, Koyoharu Gotouge, has produced a visual masterpiece, along with penning an equally impressive account of a boy who fi ghts against marauding demonic entities in Japan. The anime series follows the life of Tanjiro Kamado, whose family is murdered by a bloodthirsty demon. Tanjiro, who lives in the mountains, comes home one day to find his kin slaughtered. The only survivor of the brutal attack is his sister, Nezuko, who sadly turns into a demon herself after that incident.
