Published July 11, 2021 NSW Health has reported 77 new locally-acquired cases as of 8PM last night as well as the first death in this outbreak. Of these cases, 55 are linked to a known case or cluster—39 are household contacts and 16 are close contacts—and 22 cases are under investigation. 32 cases were in isolation throughout their infectious period while nine cases were in isolation for part of it. 33 cases were infectious while in the community and three cases are under further investigation. Today’s total cases bring the Bondi Cluster first reported on the 16th of June to 566. The new cases come after NSW Health tested 48,754, a nice jump from the day prior’s 42,023.
