NYC schools reopening for fall: Here’s what we know so far

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The 2020-2021 school year is nearly over, and many families and school staff are starting to wonder what the next academic year will look like as New York City plans for all students to return to school in-person in the fall amid the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Porter was joined by city Department of Education (DOE) leadership, as well as parent leaders from Staten Island’s District 31 Community Education Council (CEC), to hear from families and share information.
