NYS fourth-grade test scores drop, Superintendent, 'We are working to get students back on track'

The Comptroller’s office  released a review of recent federal data  which shows students’ performance dropped significantly from 2019 to 2022. The results were so surprising to New York State, it prompted the state comptroller’s office to conduct this separate review of the data. The findings of the state were released earlier this week.
