Obituary: Glen "Rod" Roller (2/24/21) | Cassville Democrat


Glen “Rod” Roller, 89, of Seligman, passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at his home.
He was born May 9, 1931, in Washburn, the son of Albert Pietzer and Gusta (Banks) Roller. On April 18, 1954, in Washburn, he was united in marriage to Patsy Stewart who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Rodney Roller and his wife Kris of Monett; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Roller of Washburn; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Gene Roller; and one son, Leon Roller.
He grew up and received his education in Washburn, graduating from Southwest High School in 1949. During the Korean War he served his country in the U.S. Navy. Later, he traveled all over the United States building dams and bridges. For many years, he worked in maintenance at Daisy BB Gun factory in Rogers, Ark., along with working on his farm. Services were held Monday, Feb. 22, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial was at King Cemetery in Seligman. Rev. Glenn Erwin conducted the services.
