When was the last time you were impressed by someone’s position when they updated their LinkedIn page? Instead of worrying about dropping your title during your next professional chat, here are some more important things to be concentrating on. ● Talk About What You Do, Not What Your Business Card Says. Titles don’t even mean the same things at different organizations so if you find yourself in a conversation about what you do, just skip right to the part where you tell them what your day-to-day looks like. That is if you want to talk about work. If not, continue telling them “sales” or “marketing” and let them guess.
