Oklahoma City police are investigating an officer’s use of force during an arrest Thursday morning. Around 11:30 a.m., dispatchers received a call from a man stating another man was hiding in the bushes near the Carver Transitional Center located on S. May Ave. The man, identified as Floyd Wallace, was suspected to be having some sort of mental health episode. He refused to answer officers’ questions or identify himself. The encounter escalated when Wallace began asking for both officers’ names and badge numbers. The officer, seen on body camera, pushes Wallace to the ground after the officer said Wallace made a fist at him as he was approaching the officer.
