Oklahoman The city of Oklahoma City cannot guarantee the FFA's dates while keeping Chesapeake Energy Arena available for potential NBA playoff games. "It hurts my heart," said Sue Hollenbeck, special projects manager for the city and former director of sports business at the Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau. "It's significant. People are going to feel it." The annual convention for the Oklahoma Chapter of the National FFA Organization brings thousands of high school students from around Oklahoma to Oklahoma City each year in the last week of April. Until this year, the state's agricultural education students gathered at the Cox Convention Center, with its arena seating 10,000 or more.
