Procter & Gamble-owned Old Spice plans to open its first-ever brick and mortar barber shop in Columbus and bring celebrity hair stylists to central Ohio. The barber shop is scheduled to open on March 1 in the University Gateway development along North High Street. Celebrity barbers like Florido, Benjamin Thigpen, Matt Johnston= and Pat Regan are scheduled to come to Columbus for a weekend residency program, a news release said. The barbers, who have styled hair for famous actors and athletes, will shoot videos, lead information sessions and style hair, the news release said. The shop will also include a content studio to produce hair styling videos for Old Spice's social media channels.
