ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI — A 54-year-old Branch County man is dead following a head-on collision Wednesday, Dec. 9 east of Sturgis.
First responders were called to the scene at 4:30 a.m. Dec. 9 on U.S. 12, near Sweet Lake Road in Fawn River Township, according to a news release from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office.
Following an investigation it was determined a 19-year-old woman from LaGrange, Indiana was eastbound in a 2007 Nissan Altima when her vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a westbound 2008 Kia Rio.
