Oneida County man sentenced to nearly 6 years in federal prison for having guns, feds say Updated Apr 06, 2021; A 47-year-old Blossvale man was sentenced to nearly six years in federal prison for illegally having two guns and more than 100 rounds of ammunition as a convicted felon, according to federal prosecutors. Joseph W. Cromp will spend 57 months in federal prison after he was found to have a Rohm .22-caliber revolver and an Izhmash SAIGA 7.62 x 39 mm AK-47, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York. Prosecutors said Cromp also had 113 rounds of rifle ammunition.
