Meanwhile, Ontario is reporting two-thousand-139 more cases of COVID-19 today. The province says 43 more people have died from the virus. Of the active cases, 932 people are hospitalized including 256 people in intensive care. Health Minister Christine Elliott says 780 cases were in Toronto, 528 in Peel Region, 148 in York Region and 143 in Durham. Northumberland also has 43 unresolved cases, compared to 9 for the Kawartha’s and 1 in the Haliburton Region. High risk contacts now sits at 125 in Northumberland, 25 in Kawartha Lakes and 1 in the Haliburton Region. High risk contacts refers to individuals who are known to have been in contact with a Confirmed or Probable case.
