Ken Danti Colorado and Pueblo, like many places around the world, are laying out plans to significantly cut pollution that is contributing to climate change. We should embrace and advocate for every opportunity to do so. From cars and trucks, to how we produce our electricity, and even in our homes and businesses, Colorado is working to cut greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and other pollutants that are warming the planet and harming our way of life. The city of Pueblo is working toward a 100% renewable future. EVRAZ recently reached an agreement with Xcel Energy that will shift a majority of the electricity the plant uses to renewable energy produced in the county, thanks to Pueblo’s leaders Senate President Leroy Garcia and House Majority Leader Daneya Esgar.
