With the election of the incoming presidential administration, there is renewed focus on the expansion of clean energy and the economic benefits that it will bring to our region and nation. Massachusetts is already on the cusp of launching a multi-billion-dollar industry, capable of creating thousands of jobs along the state’s coastline. While the presidential inauguration is a month away, there are steps that can be taken today to accelerate the adoption of offshore wind energy and develop a U.S.-based supply chain that will support economic prosperity for decades to come.
