Bury’s Let’s Do It (Local Enterprising Together Strengths) Community Strategy was launched during the pandemic and its key principles are reflected through the data response to the pandemic. Covid-19 has accelerated integrated working plans which will remain a legacy for strengthened locality working through the recovery and beyond. At the start of the pandemic in March 2020 an integrated Covid-19 data project group was mobilised to support the local response, including colleagues from within the council and CCG. In a different approach to previous ways of working an agile methodology was implemented, using daily scrum meetings and small sprints to produce in-depth pieces of analysis. This gave us focus when we needed clear communication and clarity of purpose at a time of unprecedented demand for data and intelligence.
