Over K6 billion is needed to complete three teachers’ training colleges (TTCs) in Rumphi, Mchinji and Chikwawa districts. The three teacher training institutions’ construction work cannot be completed due to government’s delay to release the required K6 billion. The revelation was made was Tuesday when Vice-President Saulos Chilima toured the project site in Rumphi District. In his response on the the matter, vice president Saulos Chilima who is tasked by his boss, President Chakwera to inspect government projects, said: “The problem we have is the lack of funding almost in various projects across the country. However, we promise that we will do all we can to ensure that these important projects are completed.”
