TUPELO ⢠Mississippi State Department of Health is now recommending that all Mississippians wear masks in indoor public settings, whether vaccinated or not. Individuals 65 years of age or older and those with chronic medical conditions should avoid all indoor mass gatherings regardless of vaccination status. If a person is exposed to someone with COVID-19, they should be tested three to five days after exposure. If not fully vaccinated, the person should quarantine for at least 10 days. Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to quarantine after being exposed, but should get tested, MSDH said.
