This is the hilarious moment a male panda contentedly chews on a bamboo shoot, totally oblivious to a female rubbing up against him and trying to mate. The clip, recorded at Copenhagen Zoo, shows the on-heat female with her back arched as she waits for the mating ritual to begin. But instead of obliging, the male, Xing Er, appears completely unaware and chomps on his bamboo snack instead. In another clip, he approaches Mao Sun and gives her a cursory sniff but then leaps away from her. In a bid to get the action started, Mao Sun later approaches Xing Er and presses her backside up against him.
