Panthera looking for local volunteers to take part in clinical studies Date published: 13 July 2021 Panthera undertakes clinical trials investigating potential new treatments in various health conditions Panthera BioPartners, an experienced clinical research company which recruits patients for and runs clinical trials, is currently looking for volunteers to take part in clinical studies at its purpose built clinical trial site in Rochdale. Panthera undertakes clinical trials investigating potential new treatments in various health conditions, which currently include Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Cardiovascular Disease. COPD Panthera’s COPD clinical trials involve the assessment of potential new medicines for the treatment of COPD and Chronic Bronchitis. The clinical trials will be looking into the effectiveness of potential new medications in treating COPD such as reducing ‘flare-ups’ and airway symptoms. Volunteers will receive a lung function assessment to assess eligibility for the trials.
