When it comes to the New England Patriots during the Bill Belichick era, any season that doesn’t result in a Super Bowl feels like a disappointment. Falling short of the playoffs? It can feel like an outright disaster.
Based on the perception around this team this season, it can be tempting to slap an “F” on the 2020 Patriots and call it a day. That, of course, ignores the fact that things could always be much, much worse.
