At press time Thursday, the Barnstable Town Council was scheduled to talk 2021 priorities with Kristy Senatori, executive director of the Cape Cod Commission and keeper of the Cape's roadmap for growth.
The commission is scheduled to hold a virtual hearing on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. about whether a residential development planned for what is now Twin Brooks Golf Course, 35 Scudder Ave., Hyannis, qualifies as a Development of Regional Impact.
Located in the heart of Hyannis at the Resort & Conference Center across from the Melody Tent, Twin Brooks is an 18-hole, par 3 public course designed by Geoffrey Cornish and opened in the mid-1960s. Zoned residential, the property is part of a District of Critical Planning Concern designed to protect natural resources.
