OCTOBER 18--When traveling in the corporate jet, the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch makes it clear that he has stringent requirements for his luxury flights. Those needs span 47 pages in a remarkable “Aircraft Standards” manual that covers everything from the underwear male cabin staffers must wear (boxer briefs) to the seating plan for the dogs of A&F chief Michael Jeffries, 68, and his boyfriend Matthew Smith, 49. Jeffries, who last year was paid $48 million, is pictured at right. A copy of the manual was recently filed in U.S. District Court in connection with an age discrimination lawsuit brought against the Ohio-based clothing firm by an ex-pilot. The existence of the document was disclosed today by Bloomberg News.
