9 & 10 News May 7, 2021 Through a partnership with Northwest Michigan Works, Pellston high school students will get an opportunity over the summer to make some extra money and cement their mark on the school. For $14 an hour, they’ll help construct a building to house a new career and technical education class. “They’ll have that legacy for years to come,” said Enos Bacon, Pellston Middle and High School principal. “I think that’s really important to us who work in the school, but to kids, they grow up here and it’s such a central part of their life for so many years so I think it’s a really fantastic opportunity.”
