May 5, 2021 Getty Peloton has announced a nationwide recall of all models of their popular treadmills. The company announced the news, which marks a 180 turn from their response a few week ago that said that there was "no reason" to stop using the machines despite multiple injuries and the death of a child in an accident. Peloton also added that they would offer users a full refund for the Tread and Tread+ machines.
