Penn State Taps Hill School's (Pa.) Murphy as Assistant : vi

Former Colgate and current Hill School (Pa.) head coach and Whipsnakes assistant Mike Murphy will join Penn State’s coaching staff, multiple sources confirmed to IL.
Chris Jastrzembski first reported the news on Monday.
Murphy takes over for Peter Toner, who was hired as Gettysburg’s next head coach in early July. Toner was a part of coach Jeff Tambroni’s staff during his entire tenure in Happy Valley, having coordinated the recruiting efforts and coached the defense.
Murphy was the head coach at Colgate for seven seasons and led the Raiders to five Patriot League tournament appearances. He parted ways with the program after the 2018 season.
