Crawfish are so ingrained into the culture of Pensacola that a year without the city's highly anticipated crawfish festival is a year to forget, which 2020 very much was. But now it's time to pinch and suck like it's 2019 as the 36th annual Pensacola Crawfish Festival returns this year between April 30 and May 2. The event will move back to Seville Square and Fountain Park after most recently taking place at Community Maritime Park. The location change was prompted by concern over Hurricane Sally damage at Maritime Park, according to festival organizers at Fiesta Pensacola. "We are very excited to bring this back to the community after such a hard year last year," said Margaret-Anne West, the event director at Fiesta Pensacola. "We're taking all the necessary precautions and we're really excited to have the community come out and listen to some great music, eat some great crawfish and have a great time together once again."
