A PENSIONER told of her two years of agony with tooth infections after it was revealed that people are being told to wait until 2024 for dentist appointments.
Gwen Leeming spent the past two years with infections in two of her back teeth - but was unable to get help from any NHS dentists in Brighton.
When the 72-year-old tried to get help from her NHS dentist, she was told that her practice was now only providing private appointments.
After six months, she finally got an appointment but had to travel for an hour outside of Brighton to get seen.
