Fred Hutch doctors are testing acupuncture as a way to ease symptoms of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy. About 300,000 newly treated cancer patients in the U.S. experience such nerve damage for six months or longer. It ranges from lack of sensation, to weird sensations of tingling, to overt, agonizing pain.
