A search warrant was then obtained, revealing about nine marijuana plants in the greenhouse worth an estimated US$11,700 ($14,157), an unspecified amount of THC vape oil and five firearms. The plants, guns and two vehicles were reportedly seized.
Chunlei Wang, 31, and Kaiying Wang, 29, have been charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute and narcotics possession.
In Georgia, where recreational weed is illegal, cultivating 10 pounds (4.5 kilograms) or less of marijuana is a felony punishable by one to 10 years in prison and a US$5,000 ($6,050) fine, reports the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.
