BENNINGTON â The pace of a class-action suit over PFOA contamination of groundwater in sections of Bennington has been slowed by the COVID-19 pandemic, attorneys for the hundreds of plaintiffs said this week, but it remains on track for a trial in U.S. District Court or a possible settlement with Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics. The three law firms involved have released a video and media statement to update those affected in terms of their health and through diminution of their property values, because of the long-lasting industrial contamination embedded in soils and groundwater.
