FAIRMOUNT, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Matt Heley’s two run double in the bottom of the fourth inning broke a 2-2 tie and lifted the H/F/R/C-T/L Pirates to a 6-2 win over Enderlin/Maple Valley in high school baseball Thursday in Fairmount. The Pirates are made up of players from Hankinson, Rosholt, S.D., Fairmount, Campbell-Tintah, Minnesota and Lidgerwood. The Pirates scored first with a run in the bottom of the first when Austin Bladow drove in Preston Bohnenstingl with a two-out single. The Falcons would tie it at 1 in the top of the third on C Bartholomay’s two-out single that brought in C Iwen.
