PKN Orlen to buy 89.4-MW wind farm portfolio in Poland Polish oil refiner PKN Orlen (WSE:PKN) has struck a deal to acquire the owner of 89.4 MW of onshore wind farms at home in a deal worth PLN 380 million (101.8m/EUR 84.2m). The buyer said on Friday it will purchase 100% of the shares of Poland-based Nowotna Farma Wiatrowa Sp zoo from Spanish investment funds Taiga Inversiones Eolicas SCR SA and Santander Energias Renovables SCRA SA. The target entity owns a portfolio of three wind parks located in the villages of Kobylnica, Subkowy and Nowotna in the Pomeranian Voivodeship of northern Poland. Specific details about the power plants were not available.
