PLANS have been submitted for 75 homes at Quarter Jack Park in Wimborne, including 18 affordable homes. Permission has already been granted for more than 300 homes at the site, and Barratt Homes have now submitted an application to re-plan part of the development and erect 75 homes. A design and access statement says: “In line with the previously consented development, the revised design incorporates a strong narrative of built form and sequences of space, in which streets are provided with a sense of enclosure between pinch points. “Fundamental to the designer’s approach is the requirement to provide a highways layout that, by design, discourages traffic speeds.
