Police and Arriva respond to trouble at bus depot in Bishop Auckland | Darlington and Stockton Times

POLICE and bus company Arriva have said they are working together to tackle antisocial behaviour around a disused bus depot.
Residents of Cockton Hill, in Bishop Auckland, say the former Arriva depot on Morland Street has become a hotspot for trouble with youths regularly congregating there and misbehaving.
Neighbours have complained about youths drinking and leaving litter, including nitrous oxide canisters and broken bottles, in the area and a gate to the site had to be boarded up after trespassers were reported.
One resident told The Northern Echo: “It has become a real problem since it has been empty.
“Sometimes it is just kids hanging out, I know they have to go somewhere, but there have been times they’ve climbed over the gates, I’ve seen them drinking and dropping litter and I’ve been shouted at.
