Police: Bridgeport shooting suspect was wearing GPS tracker

BRIDGEPORT — Eugene “EJ” McKnight was identified as a suspect in a recent shooting on the Route 25/8 Connector, in part thanks to technology, police said. They said McKnight had been wearing a GPS tracking device ever since his release on home invasion and gun charges, and it placed him right at the time and place of the shooting.
