North West Metro Regional Crime Squad detectives have today charged a 40-year-old Narre Warren South man with nine offences including assault police officer, intentionally cause injury, throw missile to injure and fail to comply with Chief Health Officer directions. The charges relate to an alleged incident that occurred when a group of officers were patrolling on horse-back along Swanston Street between Flinders Street and Flinders Lane about 12.15pm, 24 July.
