WEST Yorkshire Police is looking to “establish the circumstances” surrounding a picture that appeared to show that a PCSO had gone on a day trip hiking with seven other people.
The PCSO (914), who did not have their name on their Twitter profile but is an Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) officer covering Bowling and Barkerend, shared a tweet on April 14 about a hill climb she had undertaken.
The tweet – which received 19 likes and two replies – said: “Rest day well spent. Walking with the work family. I’m stiff as a board now.”
It included the hashtag “Simon’s Seat”, which indicated the group had climbed to the popular summit of Barden Fell, in Wharfedale.
